A Future With No Goats

SASQWASH

The self described mix between an “a happy gorilla and an angry fruit,” Sasqwash gave one of the more well-rounded sets yet seen on Sweet Baby Lou. Transferring gracefully from the heavy riff rock of “Love” and “Leaving You, Leaving Me” to thrash rockers like “Decorating the Ghettos” to finally an all out acoustic jamboree with special guest Andy Suhre.

Sasqwash have been an Amherst area band for the last year and most of the members also split their time with another ubiquitous collective, Grex. However bassist Dan Shaw admits that Grex is more free form and unrehearsed.

You can check out both acts this week at Mallory’s CD release party, for further instructions go to facebook and search for the Juggler’s Meadow Mallory CD release party. However for now we leave you with Sasqwash and their horrifying view of the future with “no poop,” “no goats,” and “lots of sand.”
