The self-described folk-anarchists that make up Time and Place stopped into the studio last Wednesday night, graciously offering us some company on our violent descent into madness. The troupe features Brandon Rainville and Jack Hawkins (ex-members of the now defunct ska group A Wrench in the Spokes) on vocals and guitar, and Meagan Day (of The Frills) who whips up a fury on the upright bass. Here the group powers through songs like “The Postscript / There Will be Time” and “As the Rain Dies Down” off last year’s self-titled EP.
