A Walking Ghost

Illnesses and random deaths plagued last week’s episode “Sweet Baby Lou’s Death Show,” with the totally unexpected death of Sweet Baby Lou being the first and foremost surprise. However while the full lineup of The Walking Ghosts were kept out of the studio lead singer Dylan Wicks came in to showcase some of the band’s material including awesome versions of “To the Lonesomest Girl in Scio Township” and “Sweet as Sin.”

The Reverends appreciated Wicks’ style, he wore a full suit and bow tie for the occasion. It’s surely the kind of acoustic, harmonica-laden jams that Lou would’ve loved. If he was still alive. WHY! Why Lou? WHY!  And though Wicks rocked admirably, for most of the show the Reverends couldn’t stop crying and cursing the heavens for the loss of the man, the legend, Sweet Baby Lou.
