Anti-Tank Dog Live From Hell

Last week’s show sent Sweet Baby Lou and The Reverends to the gates of Hell, and we took the some great live local music along with us. This week’s featured band Anti-Tank Dog are a relatively new band to the area that have only been playing local shows for the last couple months, though you’d never know it from their expert original songs like “Molitov Martini” and “Organic” as well as a stellar cover of Low-era David Bowie track “Always Crashing in the Same Car.”

Anti-Tank Dog while new differentiate stylistically from the current Amherst seen and particularly from lead singer and SBL alum Mike Dunn’s former ska project, A Wrench in the Spokes.

Anti-Tank Dog’s set spiraled out of control, with songs that mix a traditional punk styling while adding structured forays into more experimental territory.
