THE ACCIDENT THAT LED ME TO THE WORLD

This week we were joined in the latest installment of our venerable sessions by local Western Mass. band, The Accident that Led Me to the World. The soft spoken trio comprised of Zack Ciras (upright bass), Raianne Richards (clarinet, acoustic guitar, vocals), and Mark Mandeville (acoustic, banjo, vocals) balance even softer vocals and delicate harmonies to create a deep ambiance.

Officially formed 5 years ago in the a now defunct coffee shop, The Accident that Led Me to the World has released two albums 2006’s self-titled debut and their latest last years follow up, The Island Gospel, both on the label Nobody’s Favorite Records.

For their first appearance on Sweet Baby Lou & The Reverends of Funk, these WMUA studio veterans took a loose approach to the setting dipping into songs from both their albums while pulling heavily from the set list for their forthcoming local area show at The Mission Bar in Pittsfield, MA this coming April 30th. Tickets for this show are still available through their website and through The Mission Bar.
